这场比赛的要求

This 50-kilometer trail running race through the mountainous terrain of Hakuba requires sustained endurance over a long-distance off-road format.

Endurance capacity

Covering a 50-kilometer distance demands a high level of aerobic conditioning and muscular stamina to sustain forward motion over many hours.

Trail durability

Running through the natural terrain of Hakuba places continuous mechanical stress on the lower limbs, requiring specific resilience for off-road surfaces.

Athletes should target 60 to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour to sustain energy levels across a duration that will likely exceed four and a half hours.
