A 360-kilometer cycling endurance challenge starting from Bali, New Taipei City and finishing at Pingshan Elementary School in Kaohsiung.
What this race demands
This 360-kilometer ultra-distance road cycling challenge demands exceptional muscular and systemic endurance to sustain forward motion across a massive point-to-point distance.
Extreme Distance
Covering 360 kilometers requires strict pacing discipline and the ability to manage fatigue over many hours in the saddle.
Continuous Pacing
The single-stage point-to-point format necessitates efficient energy conservation and sustained output to reach the finish in Kaohsiung.
Given the duration of a 360-kilometer ride, athletes must consume 60 to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour to maintain energy balance and prevent severe glycogen depletion.
