Training Milestones and Public Profiles

Training is full of small wins that go unnoticed. You hit a new FTP, string together a week of perfect adherence, or finally crack 100 TSS in a single session, but there is nothing to mark the moment. Starting today, IntervalCoach tracks these milestones automatically and lets you share them.

Training Milestones

Milestones are badges you earn by training. They are not arbitrary gamification. Each one represents a real training achievement that matters for your development as an athlete.

There are 23 milestones across five categories:

Volume: Century Day (100+ TSS in a single session), Big Week (500+ weekly TSS), and Monster Week (750+ weekly TSS). These recognize the sessions and weeks where you showed up and did the work.

Consistency: 7-Day Streak, 30-Day Streak, and Plan Follower (4 consecutive weeks at 90%+ adherence). Consistency is the single biggest predictor of improvement, and these milestones make that visible.

Fitness: FTP Bump (5%+ FTP increase), New Peak CTL (all-time fitness high), and Power Surge (20+ watt improvement at any duration). The moments where the numbers prove the training is working.

Recovery: Rest Day Respect, earned by taking rest days when your body needs them. Because knowing when not to train is a skill too.

Multi-Sport: For triathletes and multi-sport athletes who train across disciplines.

Three milestones are repeatable challenges: Monthly Century (one 100+ TSS day per month), Perfect Month (four weeks of 90%+ adherence), and Annual Warrior (200 training days in a year). Plus tenure milestones at 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years.

Unearned milestones show progress bars so you can see how close you are. For example, "4/7 days" toward a streak. Earned ones show the date you unlocked them and how rare the badge is: each one displays what percentage of IntervalCoach athletes have earned it, so you know if you are in the top 5% or part of a bigger crowd.

Milestones are available for Pro and Max subscribers. You will get an email notification when you unlock a new one (toggle this in Settings > Notifications).

Public Profiles

Every IntervalCoach user can now create a public profile page. Go to Settings > Account > Public Profile to enable yours, pick a handle, and share the link.

Your profile shows your earned milestones, peak fitness stats, and training summary. It is a simple way to share what you have been working on, whether that is with training partners, a coach, or on a forum.

Profiles are free for everyone, regardless of your subscription tier. If you are on the free plan, your profile shows your training stats. Pro and Max users also see their earned milestones displayed.

As always, the full changelog is at intervalcoach.app/changelog. If you run into any issues or have feedback, let me know.
