The Meia Maratona dos Descobrimentos is Lisbon's autumn half marathon, starting at Praça do Império in Belém and finishing at the Museu da Marinha. Around 12,000 runners take part, with a 10 km race and a 4 km walk alongside the main 21.1 km event.
