1. Overview

IntervalCoach ("the Service") is an AI-powered training assistant operated by Russchen Media ("we", "the Operator"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Service Description

IntervalCoach generates personalized cycling, running, and swimming workouts using artificial intelligence. The Service connects to your Intervals.icu account to access training data and provides:

  • AI-generated workout recommendations
  • Training plan periodization
  • Post-workout analysis
  • AI coaching chat (Coach+)
  • Training analytics and insights

IntervalCoach is a training planning tool, not medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting or modifying an exercise program.

3. Account and Authentication

Access to IntervalCoach requires an Intervals.icu account. You authenticate via OAuth, and your Intervals.icu credentials are never stored by IntervalCoach. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings page on the web app or the iOS app.

4. Subscription Plans

IntervalCoach offers the following plans:

  • Free: Limited access including dashboard, analytics, 3 on-demand workouts per month, and weekly training plan.
  • Pro: Unlimited workouts, daily adaptive training, post-workout analysis, race pace plans, monthly progress reports, and Whoop integration.
  • Max: Everything in Pro plus 200 Coach+ AI chat messages per month.

New users receive a 14-day Pro trial at no cost. After the trial, the account reverts to the Free plan unless a paid subscription is started.

5. Payments and Billing

Web Subscriptions (Stripe)

Subscriptions purchased on the website are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in EUR. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled before the renewal date.

You can manage your web subscription, change plans, or cancel through the Settings page or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

iOS App Subscriptions (Apple App Store)

Subscriptions purchased through the iOS app are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Cross-Platform

Web and iOS subscriptions are separate billing systems. A subscription purchased on the web is not managed through the App Store, and vice versa. Your subscription tier is recognized on both platforms regardless of where it was purchased.

6. Refunds

For web subscriptions (Stripe): contact us at coach@intervalcoach.app for refund requests. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

For iOS subscriptions (App Store): refunds are handled by Apple. Request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem page.

7. AI-Generated Content

Workouts, coaching advice, and analysis are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and safety, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should:

  • Use your own judgment when following workout recommendations
  • Not rely on AI-generated content as medical or professional coaching advice
  • Stop any workout that causes pain or discomfort
  • Consult a healthcare professional for health-related concerns

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of IntervalCoach is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data, including how training data is shared with AI providers.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage

10. Limitation of Liability

IntervalCoach is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Operator is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from the use of AI-generated workouts or training advice. Use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We aim to keep IntervalCoach available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the application or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
